
Accessing and Sharing Digital Membership Cards
Members and Member's Guests can access Membership Entitlements (Member, Guest and/or Club Cards) card by tapping ‘My Card’ at the Sporting Club of Sydney app homepage.
Digital Membership Cards may be used to access Allianz Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground and/or the Sporting Club of Sydney. Members must scan-out of venues or the fitness facility, should they wish to later return (pass outs).
Digital Membership Cards replicate the member’s printed cards and do not double a member’s entitlements. A member’s entitlements remain as per their subscription. For the period of time that a Digital Membership Card is in circulation, the barcode on the printed Guest or Club Card will be rendered inactive.
Open the App
- Launch the Sporting Club of Sydney app.
- Tap the card icon (top right of the Home screen) to open My Membership.
Select the Card to Share
- Scroll through your entitlements.
- Tap “Share this Card” on the card you want to share.
- Note: Your Member’s card cannot be shared.
Enter Guest Details
- Enter your guest’s email address.
- If your guest is a first-time user, they must create a Sporting Club of Sydney app account with this email to accept your shared card.
- If the guest is a returning user, share the card to their existing account credentials.
Confirmation
- After sending, a success page will appear.
- Tap Continue to return to the My Membership page.
Unclaimed Cards
- Unclaimed cards (shared but not yet accepted) can be retrieved by the Member.
- If you entered the wrong email (e.g., misspelling), tap Retrieve Card and re-share to the correct address.
Card Locking
- Once your guest creates an account and claims your card, the barcode will appear as “locked” on your app.
- Your app will update to show who the card has been digitally shared with.
- If sharing with another Member, they should log in to the SCOS App using their Member Number and Password (the same used for the SCG/SCOS Member Portal).
Retrieving a Shared Card
- Scroll through your entitlements and tap Retrieve Card.
- Confirm your selection.
- Once retrieved, the QR code is reactivated, and the card can be shared again.
Guest List
- Details of people you have successfully shared a card with are saved in your Guest List for quick sharing in the future.
