The Prize - A two-night stay at either Bannisters By The Sea (Ocean Deluxe) or Bannisters Port Stephens (Ocean Deck Lower), including daily continental breakfast, a bottle of sparkling on arrival, a two-course dinner full of fresh, local seafood of Rick Stein's favourite dishes (from a selected menu), and a pre-dinner drink of either house wine, sparkling or beer.

 

Terms and conditions:

• The Prize is based off and limited to a maximum of two adults. 

• The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and unexchangeable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the Prize. Prize cannot be exchanged for another itinerary. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoters then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. 

• Once the end of the entry period has concluded, a winner will be randomly selected and contacted via the email address provided when entering. The winner will have seven days to respond via email to claim The Prize. The Prize will be forfeited if the winner does not reply within seven days and a new winner will be randomly selected.

• The winner will be responsible for all expenses not specifically stated as part of the prize, including but not limited to, travel costs and fees associated with redeeming any element of the prize.

•  The prize awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in displays or marketing for the competition.

•  In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoters then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. 

• If any part of the prize is unavailable, the Promoters, in their discretion, reserve the right to substitute the prize with a prize equal to the value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 

• Prize cannot be gifted to other persons in lieu of the winner not being able to travel. Should the winner not be able to complete all aspects of the itinerary within the period of prize validity, the remaining items shall be forfeited without any replacement for their value.

• Prize winners will be required to agree to and sign to booking conditions of each brand otherwise prize will be forfeited. 

•  In consideration for the Promoters awarding the Prize to the winner, the winner hereby assigns to the Promoters all right, title and interest in and to all copyright in any material created pursuant to the winner’s participation in any aspect of the Prize (Works). The winner acknowledges that the Promoters are free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

•  It is a condition of entry that the entrant consents to the Promoters using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner of a Prize (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of the Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products and services, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters. 

• By entering the Competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoters (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoters or that the Promoters may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Competition or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable. 

• If for any reason the Prize winner is unable to make their stay, they must give notice to Bannisters Port Stephens or Bannisters By The Sea (wherever the booking has been made) 7 days from arrival. If they cancel within 48 hours of arrival they must provide evidence of serious injury or illness and as such must provide medical certificate or they forfeit the prize. 

• The Prize winner is permitted to make one (1) change to the date of the booking provided that such change is made no less than 30 days prior to the commencement of the original booking date and provided the chosen dates which are of an equal value are available.

•  This Prize must be redeemed at Bannisters Port Stephens or Bannisters By The Sea and will not be accepted at Bannisters Pavilion. 

• If the Prize winner is unable to make their stay due to an Act of God, Act of Government or other national emergency, the Prize is forfeit, unless otherwise agreed upon by Bannisters Hotels. 

• Bannisters Hotels reserves the right to deny use of Prize voucher should any of the above terms and conditions be broken.

• Voucher Expiry and Loss: The voucher must be utilized before the expiry date specified. We regret that lost, misplaced, or unused vouchers will not be eligible for extension or replacement

• Room Upgrades: Please note that no room upgrades are available with this voucher.
